Taqueria Don Julios in Riverview

My first time here. The food was good, I ordered the carne asada tacos with an agua de horchata. Although it's street style tacos they were a bit pricey but they didn't have the tiny street taco size so I can't really fault them for that. My tip to them If they read this is to cut back a little on the grease, the tacos were delicious but almost fell apart.

They used to be one of my favorite places, but they now the worse!!! They pack your food with aluminum foil so don't even bother on ordering 2 orders separately because they will put them all on a bag. The food is greesy and you will have to eat your tacos with a fork because that's how bad they are!!! I do not recommend!!!

I just spent $13 some odd dollars for the worst tacos and sopes. When I have to grab the table salt to add flavor to the shrimp then theres a problem. The tortilla fell apart immediately when I attempted to grab the taco. I attempted to just eat the shrimp but everything was so soggy I literally threw the entire thing away. I ordered a Shrimp Sope as well and the same thing happened, just crumbled apart and had a weird after taste. Sopes made the right way has a nice flavorful crunch, there was nothing fresh about that place, worst tacos ever! Driving to Lolis in Tampa is worth it to replace the blandness of this place. Please save your money y'all.

Have been a regular customer for 8 years now and keep coming back because of the fantastic food and excellent customer service. Good luck with your newest restaurant in Ruskin guys. You are great.

This place is awesome. 2 tacos for less than $5. The taste is incredible. The mild green salsa had just enough kick but not too much. I’ll be back.

Tonight was one of those nights where my wife and i couldn't agree on a place to eat... i ate here and she had McDonald's... i can honestly say the best part of my dinner was her fries... never againI gotta add, from reading the reviews for some people complaining about the meat. At least you got meat in your taco! I ordered steak in all 3 tacos and in my burrito and got absolutely none. No meat at all. Paid 40 bucks for steak tacos and burritos and ended up with the vegan plan i guess.... not cool

This place is not good at all , don’t waste your money

Such good food here but it gets pretty busy. Get there early to avoid to the lunch rush. Don't be intimidated by all of the Spanish speaking and hard working folks that eat here. The staff speaks English and everyone is very friendly. Wish the eating area was better but the bare- bones atmosphere kind of makes it more authentic. Will be back.

One of the BEST places to eat some awesome Mexican food! If I'm in the area this is a MUST stop on my trip, I highly recommend this place. Their tacos are great, and their burritos are amazing, my kids love their nachos. AWESOMENESS!!!

Their food is really good the only thing I think they need to improve is the tacos everytime I get tacos from there they are soggy and fall apart when you pick them up I think they should double the tortillas or something

Placed to-go order over phone When I arrived was second in line waiting atleast 5-10 mins to pay for my food. They allowed a customer walk right up to the second window to pay for some extra tortillas. Bye bye!

Food is absolutely delicious. They have a taco Tuesday special, 3 tacos with your choice of meat, plus a side ofrice and beans for 6 bucks. You can't beat it!

Food was terrible ...ordered for pick up with instructions how to prepare the food and they got it all wrong. The nachos were horrible. The cashier girl was very rude and considered...don’t go there ...Taco Bell is better at least you know what your getting.

The meat was good but the tortilla kept falling apart.

Order off DoorDash and they put wet lettuce on top of fried tortillas. By the time the food got here, my food was so soggy I couldn’t even eat it. The parts of the tortilla that weren’t soggy were burnt and hard. The chicken was dry. Won’t be ordering from here again, EVER.

The food is pretty good but the service is very slow. When I got here 2 people were waiting for food but nobody in line to order in front of me. Not sure why it took so long to get my food.

These people know what they are doing very good quality flavor and they service is world class second time I've been there tacos on point and tostadas are fire ive been to a lot of taco places this is the best out of all I've been toothank you for real food

The tacos and salsas were good enough to come back. The menudo was lacking flavor and could be better. Service was good.

Been eating here since they first opened a few years ago. Great authentic Mexican food, no matter what you order. Wait time is short, and even when they're busy it's still worth the wait. And be sure to get the green salsa if you like spicy food. It is SO good.

EXCELENTE! We have heard much talk about this restaurant and just tried it tonight. We have been missing out on some GREAT FOOD. This food is made with a caring touch, by someone that loves to cook. Fresh ingredients, freshly made, except for the meat ingredients, you can tell these took time to make, to get such a rich flavor. Plentiful size in the amount of food contained in each order. I would go back tonight but I am too full. I will be there tomorrow. Gracias

Great flavorous tacos and a good price. Also a mean burrito. The only drawback is that they take a bit long to fulfill your order, but a guess you can rush goodness.

This little spot is great. A little too salty but the lemonade makes up for it. Great prices. Outside dining only. Make sure you spray some Off before sitting out there... you will get bitten at least 100 times in the first ten minutes of sitting down. You've been warned!!!

Fantastic Taqueria, hidden off the side of a gas station. You have to look for it. Great selection and the prices seem reasonable. Four tacos and a large tamarindo for $10. Good variety of choices of meats and they have the typical Mexican toppings for your tacos. The menu says they have soups, burritos and huaraches. Their homemade salsas were super delish.

Hands down the BEST and most authentic Mexican food around!! Super friendly staff. Food is always made fresh when ordered and portions are enough to share. Our family can't recommend this place enough!!

Just visited this place for the first time. The horchata was amazing! It was basically a food . had Barbacoa burrito and chimichanga and a chicken burrito. Everything tasted good but the Barbacoa wasn't as spicy as it should have been. We couldn't finish our meals and I would say it runs about $10 per person including drinks. No table service which was fine. There was a gray tabby cat who is thin but apparently is fed well just the same. :-)

Food and prices are fairly reasonable. The only complaint is that some of their taco meats lacked in flavor, specifically the steak. I was looking forward to squeezing the huge half lime that came with the tacos but it was a bad one (the thick skinned lime with little to no juice, if you know what I mean). Al pastor was great though! Oh! And if you go make sure to try their pineapple or lemonade drink. It must be made in house because of the fresh pulp. I had the pineapple and it was wonderful to wash down my tacos. Not too sweet and nothing like the bottled stuff. Though next time I might try half lemonade and half pineapple.

Flautas were fantastic, sopes thin and delicious, and most of the meats I tried were pretty good. It's not my favorite taco spot but still good.

This place is AMAZING! The fattest burritos, delicious carne fresh delicious ingredients. Fortunately they have open outdoor seating and you can call ahead to have your order ready before hand. Highly recommend this place.

Always delicious. Never disapoint. Their home made hot sauce are amazing and very hot.

Food is good. What I didn't like is the fact one of the employees was running the pressure washer with customers still eating including myself. My opinion i think the best way to do is let the customers finish eating and leave before they start running the pressure washer. Thanks.
